Asking questions

Dementia can be a worrying and confusing condition and it can be hard to know how to cope with the challenges it brings.

Talking Point members can ask questions about dementia, giving as much or as little detail as they like.

You will receive responses from other members who may have had similar experiences. You'll also have the opportunity to respond to comments that others have made. You can ask further questions or explain more about your situation.

Sharing your experience

It can be really worrying when you or someone you know is going through a difficult time.

Talking Point members can share their own experiences with other members, to receive support from other people who are affected by dementia. You can add updates to your discussion and respond to those who offer support or advice.

We also have an area for members who'd like to keep an online diary about living with dementia.

Joining discussions

We have a range of discussion forums to support people who have dementia and those who are caring for them. We also have forums to support people throughout their journey with dementia – whichever stage you are at.

Members can ask questions about legal and financial issues, recommend a helpful resource or ask about a type of treatment. There are also areas for discussing dementia news and campaigns.
