Why do it?

Who can turn down a good slice of homemade cake?

If you fancy trying your hand at baking, but don't feel quite ready to sign up to the Great British Bake off, ease yourself in by whipping up some fancy desserts, all for a good cause. It couldn't be more easy, or delicious, to support us.

Your fundraising will help us to continue our vital work to support people living with dementia and those who care for them.

Top tips for planning a bake sale

Set a time and place. Make sure there's a table and plenty of space for all your baked goods. This could be at your work place, community centre or sports club.

Spread the word. Put up posters, send emails, or you could even create a Facebook event. Whatever works for you, just make sure people are informed of the time and place of your event.

Start selling. Don't forget to display a suggested price as some people may be too shy to ask. Our free  fundraising pack comes with a collection box to keep donations, but any jar or even a mug will do the job.

What's in the pack?

By signing up for your free fundraising pack, we'll make sure you have everything you need to make your bake sale a hit. Every fundraising pack will include:

  • Your Alzheimer's Society fundraising guide (including ideas, tips and all the info you need)

  • Posters to publicise your event

  • Donation and sponsorship forms

  • A collection box

  • Balloons!
