The Challenge
Over 2,000 adventures will take on the fabulous Peak District as a walk, jog or a run in this area of outstanding natural beauty. You’ll set off from base camp in the idyllic Bakewell past Chatsworth House, and venture through gorgeous scenery across the Peak District National Park.
There's some varied terrain on a with a few testing climbs, leading to stunning views. 25km, 50km and 100km options are all available, so you can challenge yourself to your level. Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz and a medal to commemorate your achievement.
With Alzheimer's Society, an official partner on this event, you get a 50% discount on the ‘Full Sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support us.

Distance options
- Full Challenge (100km) - Bakewell to Bakewell Loop
- 1st Half (50km) - Bakewell Northern Loop
- 2nd Half (50km) - Bakewell Southern Loop
- 1st Quarter (25km) - Bakewell to Tideswell
Fundraising
You only need to raise half of the fundraising target 3 weeks ahead of the Peak District Challenge to confirm your place - you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!
Charity sponsorship - pay a small registration fee and do lots of fundraising!

Full Challenge (100km) - £45 registration fee + £595 in fundraising
Half Challenge (50km) - £30 registration fee + £395 in fundraising
Quarter Challenge (25km) - £15 registration fee + £250 in fundraising
Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and fundraise less
Full Challenge (100km) - £110 registration fee + £330 in fundraising
Half Challenge (50km) - £72.50 registration fee + £220 in fundraising
Quarter Challenge (25km) - £45 registration fee + £135 in fundraising
