If you have recently been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies, this booklet is for you. It will help you, and your family and friends, to understand more about the condition and how it can affect you.

This booklet covers how you might feel about your diagnosis and suggests ways of managing these feelings. It also has information on the types of support, including treatments, that can help you to live well with dementia.

You are not alone – around 900,000 people in the UK have dementia. About one in 13 of these people have dementia with Lewy bodies. Support is available for you and the people close to you.
