Travel information

There are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 1.5km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 7km route has amazing views of the North East coastline, and is more challenging with some muddy patches so don’t forget your wellies and walking boots! This route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

  • Dogs allowed on leads
  • Toilets
  • Refreshments

The meeting point is on grass. The short route is on pavement and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. There is no dedicated accessible parking.
