Share advice, laughter, and support at Liverpool Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Liverpool Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site. Our venue for 2026 will be confirmed in the new year.

We recommend that anyone participating in Memory Walk arrives at the event site from 10am. This allows time to take part in the pre-walk activities such as the Zumba warm-up and also allows time for possible delays caused by traffic and public transport.

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

A longer 6km route which is slightly more challenging.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Travel Information

Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible.

By car

There is limited event parking so please car share where possible.

If you are a blue badge holder, please notify the parking stewards on arrival.

By train

Dogs are not permitted at this venue - assistance dogs are welcome and we politely ask owners to carry proof on them as the venue may ask to see this.

The meeting point is on grass. Both routes are on pavement and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance.
