Get help to write or update your Will
We can help you get an up-to-date Will, either through our Will to Remember scheme with a local solicitor, or with our online partner, Farewill. When you write or update your Will, you can also do something incredible: leave a legacy to help us fight dementia.
There are two ways we can help you with your Will:
With Will to Remember you can access the right legal advice to write or update your Will. There’s no obligation to give a gift in your Will to Alzheimer’s Society, yet you can still take advantage of our discounted legal scheme, offering you £150 off legal services.
Choose a solicitor local to you from our approved network across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, all of whom have received training to help them better understand dementia. This means you know they will treat your requirements with care and understanding, whether or not you or your loved ones live with the condition.
Write your Will quickly and easily online through our partner, Farewill – the largest online Will writing service in the UK.
We are able to offer this service for free to Alzheimer’s Society supporters in England and Wales, with no obligation to leave a gift in your Will. However many of our supporters do choose to recognise Alzheimer’s Society with a gift, in recognition of a cause they care deeply about.
Please be aware that you will automatically be opted in to an annual charge of £10 to continue to be able to update your Will after the first year. You can opt out of this service through Farewill at any time before being charged through your Account.
Farewill is a quick and easy way to make a simple Will. If you have a more complex estate or any questions around capacity you should consider contacting an SRA regulated solicitor. You can do this through our Will to Remember scheme.
