Host a Games Night this Autumn and challenge your friends and family to a fun filled evening of your favourite games. Collect donations on the night and raise all important funds to help beat dementia.

We'll send you a welcome pack with everything you need to get started.

2) Invite your friends, get some refreshments and choose some games to play!

3) Setup a JustGiving page and prepare your collection box to collect donations.

4) Roll the dice and make your move in the fight against dementia! Share your photos with us using #GamesNight 
and @alzheimerssoc.

5) Pay in your donations and see the difference you've made to the lives of people affected by dementia.

By taking part in Games Night, not only are you having a great night in with friends, but every penny you fundraise is also making sure Alzheimer’s Society can be there for people affected by dementia.

  • £12 could cover the cost of a call to our National Dementia Helpline.
     
  • £100 could cover the cost of supporting one patient with early stage Alzheimer’s for three months on one of our vital trials.
     
  • £150 could pay for two people to attend a Singing for the Brain service for a year.
     
  • £345 could bring together a person living with dementia together with a trained volunteer over the course of a year in our Side by Side service.

By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won’t win. Every day, we work tirelessly to find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia. We provide expert information, training, and support services to all those who need our help. 

We can’t do this without you, so let’s take on dementia together.

Paying in your donations is easy, you can choose from any of the following options:

1)    Pay in online. Use our secure donation form to make a payment online.

2)    Pay in on JustGiving. Set up a page here.

3)    Pay in over the phone. Call 0330 333 0804 to pay over the phone using a debit or credit card

4)    Send in a cheque. Addressed to Alzheimer’s Society, Scott Lodge, Scott Road, Plymouth, PL2 3DU. Please write your name, email address, post code and ‘Games Night’ on the reverse.

Terms and conditions for Games Night prize draw


1. No purchase necessary. There is no obligation to make a donation to be eligible for entry.


2. Subject to these terms and conditions, you can enter this draw without making a donation by sending your name and address on a postcard to: Quit for a bit Prize Draw, Alzheimer’s Society, 43-44 Crutched Friars, London, EC3N 2AE.


3. Entry is open to UK residents over 16 years of age


4. Maximum 1 entry per person. Participants must have supplied a full postal address to participate


5. Entry signifies acceptance of these rules. Entries not submitted in accordance with the rules and illegible, incomplete or altered entries will be disqualified and Alzheimer’s Society reserves the right to withhold or cancel the prize in the event of non-compliance with these rules. Alzheimer’s Society decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition


6. The prize draw will be open until midnight on 25 November 2019


7. The winning entry will be drawn on or around 9 December 2019


8. There is one prize consisting of a bundle of board games: Jenga, Articulate, Bananagrams, Dobble and Pie Face. There will not be any alternative prizes, no interest is payable and prizes are not transferable


9. The prize will be posted to the winner within 14 days of the draw


10. Details of the winner and prize awarded will be published on our website and can be sent on request to anyone who supplies an ordinary postage stamped self-addressed envelope


11. The winner will be notified by email, post or phone within 5 days of being selected (using details provided at entry) and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If we cannot contact the winner (using the details provided) within a reasonable period of time (to be established at Alzheimer's Society's discretion) then Alzheimer’s Society reserves the right to choose another winner and thereafter until a winner on these terms is found
