Feel it all at an Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk

Join us at Alexandra Gardens on 08 September 2024 and share an incredible day with others who understand how it feels to be affected by dementia.

Meeting point

Windsor Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at Alexandra Gardens, which is located by Windsor Mini Golf in the garden. Please note, this area is on grass. Find us using the postcode SL4 5JA, alternatively enter pits.nests.sheep into the What3Words App.

Travel information

There is no dedicated event parking, please use town centre parking and public transport.  Alexandra Gardens is less than 0.5km walk from both Windsor & Eton Central station and Windsor & Eton Riverside station.

For drop-offs only, head to Stovell Road. Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible.

Route 

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 6.5km route takes in  amazing views of the River Thames in the historic location of Windsor, and is more challenging with a combination of woodland and paved paths.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility

The meeting point is on grass. The short route is on paved paths and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. There is no dedicated accessible parking.
