Share advice, laughter, and support at Bristol Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

Key Information

Meeting Point

Bristol Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site. The specific location for Bristol Memory Walk will be decided soon and we'll let you know.

We recommend that anyone participating in Memory Walk arrives at the event site from 10am. This allows time to take part in the pre-walk activities such as the Zumba warm-up and also allows time for possible delays caused by traffic and public transport.

Route

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 4.5km route takes you around Bristol’s historic harbourside, enjoying views of the S.S. Great Britain and Cumberland Basin. It is more challenging and not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways, and some uneven terrain throughout the route.

Travel Information

Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, such as public transport or car share, where possible.

Please note, there is no dedicated event parking, so please use city centre parking or consider using public transport, where possible.

For drop-offs only, head towards Prince Street, The Grove or Welsh Back.
