Feel it all at an Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk 

Join us at Ferry Meadows in 2025 and share an incredible day with others who understand how it feels to be affected by dementia.  

Registrations for 2025 aren’t open yet but you can register your interest now and we’ll be in touch to let you know when they open up!

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Peterborough Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

Meeting point

Peterborough Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site, just behind the Ferry Meadows café. Please note this area is on grass. Find us using postcode the PE2 5UU, alternatively enter jazz.insect.woke into the What3Words App.

Travel information

There is limited event parking at Ferry Meadows. Please use postcode PE2 5UU. City centre parking is a 5km walk, with Peterborough station a 5.3km walk away.

Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible. 

Route

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 5km route takes in more of the park, and is more challenging.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility

The meeting point is on grass. The short route is on paved paths and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. There is limited venue parking available at this event.
