Who will you walk for?

Get your team together and walk for your loved ones at Maidstone Memory Walk at Mote park on Sunday 18 September 2022.

Aim to raise £160, or as much as you can, so you can support more people affected by dementia now, and in the future.

You will have everything you need to smash your target, including a brilliant fundraising pack, Memory Walk t-shirt, and when you’ve completed your walk, a shiny medal to celebrate your achievements.

Registration closes 14 September at 4pm.

Meeting point

Maidstone Memory Walk will start and finish next to the event car park in front of the cafe. Find us using postcode ME15 7SX and follow signs for Memory Walk on approach to the venue.

Travel information

Event Parking is available free of charge at Mote Park. Please use postcode ME15 7SX and follow signs for Memory Walk on approach to the venue.

Please arrive in good time to avoid queues, and note that parking is on grass.

City centre parking is also available and Maidstone rail station is a 2km walk away. Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible. 

Route

There are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route is a gentle stroll around the park and lake, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 5km route is a little more challenging, and will take you around the park and lake, as well as through woodland . This route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility

The meeting point and car parks are on grass. The short route is on paved paths and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. There is dedicated event parking available, please make stewards aware on arrival if you need an accessible parking space.
