Feel it all at an Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk

Join us at Clumber Park in 2025 and share an incredible day with others who understand how it feels to be affected by dementia.

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Clumber Park Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

Meeting point

Clumber Park Memory Walk will start and finish on the Front Field, a short walk from the cafe. Please note, this area is on grass.

Travel information

Event Parking is available at Clumber Park, please use postcode S80 3AZ. Follow Memory Walk signage on the approach and inside the estate. Please arrive in good time to avoid queues, and note that parking is on grass.

Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible.

Route

There are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

The shorter 2.5km route is a gentle stroll around the park’s paths, which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages. This route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance.

The longer 8.5km route is a little more challenging, and will take you around the park’s woodlands and lakeside pathway. This route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility 

The meeting point and car parks are on grass. The short route is on paved paths and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance.

There is dedicated event parking available, please make stewards aware on arrival if you need an accessible parking space.
