Feel it all at an Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk

Join us at Ormeau Park, Belfast on 12 October 2024 and share an incredible day with others who understand how it feels to be affected by dementia.

Meeting point

Belfast Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site, near the leisure centre. Please note this area is paved. Find us using postcode BT7 3GG, alternatively enter shop.having.loads into the What3Words App.

Travel information

There is no dedicated event parking, please use city centre parking and public transport. Ormeau Park is 1km walk from Lanyon Place Station. Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible.

Route

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

The shorter 3km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 6km route which is a longer route in Ormeau Park.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility

The meeting point is on level, paved ground. Both routes are on pavement and are suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance.
