Our information and articles

There are many Alzheimer’s Society resources with Welsh-language information about dementia in print and online, and an increasing number of our magazine articles are also available online in Welsh – see our Welsh language resources.

Conversation pack

Hen wlad fy nhadau (Land of my fathers) is a beautifully produced pack to prompt conversation, with English translations. It includes a large 64-page hardback full of images and words – everything from traditional Welsh songs and recipes to Shirley Bassey and Richard Burton – plus a 35-minute DVD and 36 picture cards. The pack costs £20 plus postage and packing from Pictures to Share.

Reading Well Books on Prescription for dementia – a specially selected list of resources for people affected by the condition – are available from public libraries across Wales, and a growing number of these are being made available in Welsh for the first time.
