Feel it all at an Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk

Join us at Aintree Racecourse in 2024 and share an incredible day with others who understand how it feels to be affected by dementia.

Key information

Liverpool Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at the racecourse, which is located in the centre of the course. Please note, this area is on grass. Find us using the postcode L9 5AS.

Travel information 

There is limited event parking at Aintree Racecourse so please car share where possible. Please use postcode L9 5AS. Aintree rail station is opposite the racecourse entrance. Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, or car share where possible.

Route

There are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 6km route is a long route of the iconic racecourse. 

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility 

The meeting point is on grass. The short route is on paved paths and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. There is dedicated event parking available, please make stewards aware on arrival if you need an accessible parking space.
