Feel it all at an Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk

Join us at Painshill on 14 September 2024 and share an incredible day with others who understand how it feels to be affected by dementia.

Meeting point

Surrey Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at Painshill by the park cafe, which is located just off M25/J10/A3 to London. Please note, this area is on grass. Find us using the postcode KT11 1BE, alternatively enter ///living.button.putty into the What3Words App.

Travel information

Event Parking is available at Painshill, please use postcode KT11 1BE and follow signs for Memory Walk on the approach to the venue. Parking is limited so please use public transport or be dropped off if possible.

Please arrive in good time to avoid queues, and note that parking is on grass.  

Route

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2km route, which is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities.

The longer 7km route will take you further around the park and up a steep hill, and is more challenging with a combination of woodland and paved paths.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Accessibility

The meeting point and car parks are on grass. The short route is on paved paths and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. There is dedicated event parking available.
