What is Trek26?

Trek26 is a series of treks in stunning locations across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Trekkers have the option to trek either 26 or 13 miles. Thousands of people take on the challenge each year to raise money in support of people with dementia.

Why we need you!

Trekking a marathon or half-marathon is no mean feat so we love to give our trekkers as much support as possible on the day. This could be a cup of tea at one of our rest stops, a friendly word of encouragement on the route, or a triumphant cheer across the finish line. We can guarantee that it means the world to our trekkers.

This role will be perfect for you if you are:

• Friendly, welcoming and enjoy being part of a large event.
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of different tasks as needed.
• A good communicator and are comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.

The route

Starting Location: Carrick-a-Rede, Ballintoy

Both the 26 mile and 13 mile routes start at Carrick-a-rede.  The vast majority of the trek is completed on the Causeway Coast path, with stunning views the whole way and a mixture of terrain including cliff paths, secluded beaches, and wide bays. The 13 mile route finishes at Bushfoot Golf Club, while the 26 mile route continue along the coastal path to Port Stewart before heading inland to Coleraine and Ulster University to finish.

A full route map will be coming soon.
