Meet Misha Ramesh. Supervised by Professor Christopher Owen at City St. George’s University of London. Misha is one of our PhD students at the Alzheimer’s Society Doctoral Training Centre for Lewy Body Dementia, looking at predicting neurodegeneration using big data and eye scans.

Meet Noelia Pérez Ramos. Supervised by Dr Blanca Díaz Castro at the University of Edinburgh, Noelia will investigate the role of astrocytes in the brain, following infections. 

Meet Hing Tim Fung. Supervised by Dr Fatemeh Geranmayeh at Imperial College London, Tim's project is looking at blood biomarkers of cerebrovascular disease related to memory and thinking problems.

Meet Miruna Burduja. Supervised by Professor Catherine Lawrence at the University of Manchester, Miruna's research aims to answer questions about vascular dementia and cerebral small vessel disease.

Meet Eleanor Benford. Supervised by Professor Craig Smith at The University of Manchester, Eleanor investigates how dysregulation of the immune system post-stroke is connected to cognitive decline.
