About the service

Our Carer Information and Support Programme One is for carers, family and friends of a person who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. Get the advice and support you need whether that’s understanding the complexities of dementia, learning about legal and money matters, understanding how to access support and care, or practical advice on how to cope with dementia day to day.

Carers of people with dementia.

When is this service available?

8 cohorts of 12 carers attending six workshops lasting two hours each week. Future workshops being held in Crystal Peaks, Stannington, Stocksbridge, Al Huda Mosque Darnall, Asian Women's Resource Centre and online via Teams
