About the service
Our Carer Information and Support Programme One is for carers, family and friends of a person who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. Get the advice and support you need whether that’s understanding the complexities of dementia, learning about legal and money matters, understanding how to access support and care, or practical advice on how to cope with dementia day to day.

Carers of people with dementia.
This course is available for people within Wakefield Council postcode area
When is this service available?
Weekly on Tuesday for six weeks, starting 13 October 2026, 10.30am–1pm
