Who can apply to Launchpad?

Launchpad is for aspiring entrepreneurs, researchers, technologists, clinicians, care professionals and people with lived experience who are passionate about transforming the lives of people affected by dementia through innovation.

Whether you're exploring an early-stage idea or taking your first steps towards building a venture, Launchpad provides a supportive environment to help you test, validate and develop your innovation. We particularly welcome applications from people and communities that are underrepresented in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The programme is fully funded and delivered part-time over six months. During this time, you'll receive expert guidance, mentoring and practical support to help develop your idea and understand its potential impact.

We ask participants to commit a minimum of one day per week to programme activities and the development of their innovation.

While we hope many participants will continue developing their ideas beyond Launchpad, the programme is designed to be a safe space to explore, test and learn. There is no obligation to continue after the six-month programme, allowing you to experiment with confidence and make informed decisions about your next steps.
