Alzheimer’s Society launches Innovation Hub to bring change, fast
The Innovation Hub allows people affected by dementia to share the challenges they're facing in order for innovative solutions to be created.
Today, Alzheimer's Society is delighted to announce the arrival of our Innovation Hub.
Life with dementia can come with challenges. We believe innovation can support people to live well with dementia by taking on these challenges.
We’re calling anyone with an experience of dementia – living with the condition or as a carer or family member – to join our Innovation Hub and share with us the challenges you are facing.
Share challenges, vote on the big issues and we will innovate to find the solutions.
The Innovation Hub brings together people with an experience of dementia and innovators. Our team will focus on the big issues you suggest and innovate to find solutions that can change lives.
You can share your challenges as well as vote and comment on other challenges and innovations.
Simon Lord, Innovation Programme manager at Alzheimer's Society, says:
‘We believe innovation can support people to live well with dementia but we need to understand the challenges you face - big or small.
‘Through our Innovation Hub, people with dementia and carers have a quick and easy route to sharing the challenges they face everyday. '
'Our team will innovate to find solutions so we can change the lives of the 850,000 people with dementia and their loved ones, fast. '
Don’t have a challenge for us to work on right now? Join the Hub and vote on the big issues, ask questions and comment. The more people with an experience of dementia we hear from, the better.
