At present, Wales has no dementia strategy, relying instead on 2011’s Dementia Vision which set broad aspirations on improving dementia diagnosis and support, but didn’t involve detailed targets. However, partly as a result of our own #45000reasons campaign, the Welsh Government has now agreed to develop a strategy before the end of 2016. We have strongly welcomed this, and look forward to contributing to the strategy’s development.
