Helpsheets about dementia

Helpsheets are short and simplified summaries of our most popular information. Each helpsheet covers a single topic. These are easy to print at home.

What are helpsheets?

Helpsheets are printable, simple versions of our most popular information on dementia. They are one single page long.

Select a topic to read about it from the PDF document:

How can I read the helpsheets?

Digital copies

Select a topic from the list above to read it online. You can also download a PDF version to save within your files.

These helpsheets are compatible with screen readers.

Printed copies

To print your own copy of any of the helpsheets, save each one to your device, and print.

You can view and print all ten helpsheets from one PDF.

If you don't have a printer, you can order one of each helpsheet through our online order form.

If you'd like to order more copies, email the team at [email protected]

Listen online or on CD

You can listen for free on Soundcloud. Skip to the track and topic you are interested in, or listen to them all in series.

If you would prefer to listen to a CD, email your request to [email protected]

I'd like to know more about a topic

If you'd like to know more about a topic, each helpsheet mentions another factsheet or booklet, and its code. These have more detail and information in them. Make a note of the title and code. You can find them on our full list of publications

Is there a simpler version available?

Easy Read versions are for people with learning disabilities and are easier to understand than a helpsheet.

Easy Read uses simple sentences and photos to make the topic of dementia as easy to understand as possible. They were co-produced with the Belfast Dementia Champions with learning disabilities group.
