For our latest Dementia together podcast we spoke to Dawn Davies in Swansea. She was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s around two years ago.
It came as a massive shock and Dawn retreated from the world, even the idea of leaving the house terrified her. But with support from her family and Swansea’s Dementia Hwb, Dawn turned things around.
We met Dawn in the hwb and you can listen below to hear about how she now works there, helping others deal with a dementia diagnosis.
