Get inspired

At the Farmers Arms in Scorton, Natalie MacKinnon organised a Darts for Dementia fundraiser that raised £2,500 for Alzheimer’s Society.

The whole village got involved. John Hope was there cheering on every throw and ended up winning the Knockout title. For John, it was personal. His father-in-law is living with dementia, so he donated his winnings to Alzheimer’s Society because he’s seen first-hand how dementia affects not just individuals, but entire families and communities.

In the UK, 1 in 3 people born today will develop dementia in their lifetime. We’re at a turning point, but we know it will take a Society to beat dementia.

Will you join our Society and throw the winning dart?
