Windsor 50 Ultra Challenge 2027

The Challenge

Get active after the Easter holidays and take on a historic 50km Ultra, a testing 25 km, or a sharp 10 km challenge at your pace as a walk, jog, or run - and fundraise for your favourite charity! From a Windsor Racecourse basecamp 2000 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of the Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and taking in some wonderful surrounding countryside. Join as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food & drink, a special medal, T shirt & celebration finish back at basecamp - and a great sense of achievement! Push yourself further in 2027, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s No.1 Series of treks & trail challenges.

The Route

• 50km - From Windsor the route follows The Thames Path with fantastic views of the riverside & surrounding countryside, passing Eton College, and old Windsor before a snacks & drink stop at Runnymede. You follow ‘The Great Walk’ towards Windsor Castle with epic views as you get close. A lunch stop back at base-camp, before the 2nd 25 km loop – with more of the Thames Path, a final rest stop at Dorney Court, then back to the Racecourse where a loud cheer & celebration await.
• 25km - The 25km loop heads along the Thames Path passing Alexandra & Home Park, with a pit stop for snacks & drinks near historic Runnymede, before heading to Windsor Great Park with magnificent views of the Castle. Then back to basecamp for the finish line celebrations.

Fundraising

You only need to raise half of the fundraising target 3 weeks ahead of the Windsor 50 Challenge to confirm your place - you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

Charity sponsorship - pay a small registration fee and do lots of fundraising!

50km Challenge - £40 registration fee + £375 in fundraising

25km Challenge - £30 registration fee + £275 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £20 registration fee + £100 in fundraising
