The Borders Ultra Challenge 2027

The challenge

From a start in Berwick- Upon-Tweed, in England and just south of the border – the 84 km route heads around the historic town and onto to the Berwickshire Coastal Path to Emouth, St Abb’s Head, and then a welcome halfway stop at the marathon distance. Up to Dunbar and inland from the John Muir Country park to the welcome finish line in delightful seaside town of North Berwick.

Sign up as an individual or as a team - you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food and drink, optional camping and transfers, a special medal, t-shirt and celebration finish. With marathon & a 10 mile option also – there’s a Borders Challenge for everyone!! Push yourself further in 2027, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s number one series of treks and trail challenges!

Fundraising

You'll pay a small registration fee and then get fundraising for Alzheimer's Society! You only need to raise half of the fundraising target three weeks ahead of the North Norfolk 50 Ultra Challenge to confirm your place, you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

• Full Challenge (84km): £50 registration fee + £575 in fundraising
• Marathon (42km): £40 registration fee + £375 in fundraising
• Half Marathon (21km): £30 registration fee + £275 in fundraising
• 10km Challenge: £15 registration fee + £150 in fundraising
