What is Insurance Day for Dementia?

Insurance Day for Dementia (IDFD) is the flagship fundraising event for the multi-award winning Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) campaign. The day is an opportunity for the sector to UNITE in shining a light on dementia amongst colleagues, whilst also raising vital funds to ensure no one has to face dementia alone.

Did you know that almost half of the more than 300,000 people working in the UK insurance sector will be affected by dementia in their lifetime, either directly or through a loved one?

IUAD's mission is not only to fund dementia-based services and life-changing research, but to spark real change within the insurance industry, offer vital support to colleagues who are affected, and to truly move the dial on dementia. This is something you can play a pivotal role in, by taking part in IDFD.
