Today, the Dementia Support Line could receive up to 406 calls – that’s how many calls we receive on our busiest days. Behind every call is a person looking for answers. Somone might have been worrying about their memory for days, weeks, months even. They might have been handed a dementia diagnosis but little else – no pathway and no real plan. 

Every person who calls has questions they just can’t answer alone. That’s why our dementia advisers are there seven days a week and are trained to answer those questions. They listen without judgement and provide a safe space for callers to share their worries, ask questions and receive the information, guidance and reassurance they need.
