Newton Abbot Memory Cafe

Newton Abbot Memory Cafe, run by Kings Care offers a friendly place for those living with dementia and those closest to them to meet each month. It is also open to those people who are experiencing memory challenges but do not have a formal diagnosis of dementia. The Cafe is run by wellbeing workers from Kings Care and experienced volunteers. It also offers emotional support, information and guidance. There are activities available that provide mental stimulation such as word games, quizzes, crafts and sometimes outside speakers and entertainers. Perhaps most importantly, it offers a warm welcome and the hand of friendship to everyone who attends.
