Froglife’s ‘Wild Times’ sessions are weekly dementia friendly outdoor sessions to explore nature, garden, share skills, create and socialise. Family, friends and carers are also welcome. Sessions include gardening tasks, nature walks and talks, opportunities to share memories and nature inspired creative activities. The sessions aim to encourage people with dementia to: get outside; engage in some light physical exercise; improve their mood and wellbeing; build trust and confidence; share memories of being outdoors and create new memories; learn about wildlife; use existing skills and learn new skills; share their interests and socialise with others. The Rookery Gardens is at the top of Streatham Common. The group meets outside The Rookery Café which is next to the main entrance to The Rookery Gardens.
