Dementia Concern runs social clubs for people living with dementia on weekdays and weekends. These are across multiple venues. Within the social clubs are activities, a meal, transport, exercise, music and time to socialise. All activities are tailored to people living with dementia. The clubs also include external outings to places of interest within London. The social clubs consist of Weekend Day Care and a Thursday Group for more active people with dementia. The clubs provide people with dementia a chance to socialise in a safe environment and offer respite for their carers.
Who is this service for?
- Must be residents of London Borough of Ealing only and/or registered at an Ealing GP surgery
- People with a diagnosis of dementia
