About the service

Essex Dementia Care currently has two oasis activity centres in Braintree and Chelmsford. Each activity centre offers an active and stimulating environment which can accommodate the special needs of people with dementia. Carers are very welcome, and find support through meeting and sharing with other carers, joining in the fun, or simply by taking some time out to recharge batteries. Activities include drama, storytelling, music, dance, singing, karaoke, reminiscence, games and more and we have our very own professional artist as a part of the team. Suggestions for new and different activities are always helpful, and staff make every effort to accommodate the hobbies of new members.
