About the service

The Dementia Hub specialises in supporting people with memory loss, confusion and early stages of dementia. The Dementia Hub offers personalised daytime activities for the over 50’s who would benefit from some extra support. Activities and therapies include memory therapy, music therapy, games, stimulating art and gentle armchair based exercises. The Dementia Hub offers two options of attendance: a half-day session (morning or afternoon) and/or a full day session. There is also an option to stay for lunch for an additional cost. Clients always start on a half day session to begin with and once they have settled in, an option for a full day will be available. An assessment is carried out before clients are taken on to make sure the Dementia Hub is the right choice. Clients will always be supported during the assessments.
