Why volunteer with Alzheimer’s Society?

  • When you volunteer at an event as part of team Alzheimer's Society, you are helping us to get one step closer to a world without dementia by supporting all of our amazing fundraisers.
  • Our volunteers are passionate about a world without dementia and you’ll meet like-minded people.
  • You’ll make a big impact to those who are taking part in an event and fundraising for Alzheimer's Society, by being there to support, cheer on and guide participants.
  • Feel a sense of pride as your support ensures an unforgettable experience - we can’t put on our events without the help of our volunteers.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, develop existing ones, or share your expertise, all while connecting with others who may have shared experiences of dementia.
  • Volunteering at an event is a great way to get involved for people who are short on time. All our roles a one-off volunteering commitment.
  • Volunteering is a great addition to your CV. You can volunteer at multiple events or choose one special to you.
  • There are plenty of locations you can choose from across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
