Watch a 90-second video from Dr Richard Oakley:

Research will beat dementia.

'The IMPACT Research Fund is bringing together supporters like you, pooling your donations to multiply the impact of your generosity. It could bring us closer to the breakthroughs that all of us in the dementia community have been waiting for.’

Dr Richard Oakley, Associate Director of Research

We want our researchers to not only survive a career in dementia research but thrive and make the life-changing discoveries which will change what it means to live with dementia forever.

'In real terms the funds raised from the IMPACT Research Fund so far could pay for PhD studentships for up to two talented early career researchers, helping ensure the brightest and best scientists devote their careers to investigating dementia and laying the groundwork for the breakthroughs we are all so keen to see.'

'If everybody pulls together to help us reach our target of raising £650,000 by March 2023, it could potentially mean we were able to fund the PhD studentships of another two early career researchers. I’m excited to see the difference that you are making to the lives of people affected by dementia through your support today and in the future.'

Dr Richard Oakley, Associate Director of Research
