Thank you for joining us at Game On to celebrate the launch of Alzheimer’s Society’s Sport United Against Dementia campaign.  

We would like to thank the Oval and our Senior Event Partner, the League Managers Association, for helping to make the event possible.   

We are over the moon to have raised an incredible £143,000 through the raffle and auction.  

This will make a massive difference to the lives of people affected by dementia. Your donations will help fund our vital dementia support services, which offer vital advice and emotional support. 

There is still much to be done to ensure that no one faces dementia alone.

Sport has a vital role to play, helping us to transcend barriers and reach thousands more people with our support. Sport resonates with people in a way that nothing else can, and keeps people connected to their communities and the things they love.   

This is why Sport United Against Dementia is so important. Together, we will ensure that a dementia diagnosis doesn’t stop people enjoying their favourite matches, joining social activities or being part of their local club. And we will work tirelessly so that, through sport, more people can receive life changing dementia support.
