The challenge
From a basecamp near Maidstone, join up to 2,000 adventurers and you can take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run while fundraising for Alzheimer's Society! The 50km looped route heads anticlockwise on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, following the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway for a picnic. Then head along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds Castle and the North Downs Way back to the showground finish line.
Sign up as an individual or as a team - you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food and drink, optional camping and transfers, a special medal, t-shirt and celebration finish. With 25km & 10km options also available, there’s a challenge for everyone! Push yourself further in 2026, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s number one series of treks and trail challenges!
Fundraising
You'll pay a small registration fee and then get fundraising for Alzheimer's Society! You only need to raise half of the fundraising target three weeks ahead of the Kent Downs Ultra Challenge to confirm your place, you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

- 25km Challenge: £30 registration fee + £240 in fundraising
- 10km Challenge: £20 registration fee + £100 in fundraising
You can also do mixed funding and pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and fundraise less:

- 25km Challenge: £50 registration fee + £150 in fundraising
