We're in a race against time to fund research that beats dementia faster.

This is our chance to change the future of dementia

The last few years have seen rapid developments in both treatment and diagnosis of dementia. Right now, we are seeing some of the best and brightest minds in dementia research, with potentially life-changing projects, applying to us for funding for their research The deadline of 27 March is fast approaching for these dementia researchers to apply for funding of their potentially life changing projects.

There’s no time to lose. Your gift today can help to power world-class research that can lead to earlier dementia diagnosis and better health outcomes for people and their families.

Together, we can speed up life‑changing dementia research

New research could make a huge difference for people affected by dementia. Martin was finally diagnosed with young‑onset Alzheimer’s in 2023, after three difficult years of feeling unheard and struggling to get answers. He first noticed changes in 2020, but an early scan showed no dementia. As things got worse, he struggled at work and eventually had to leave the job he loved. A later scan revealed the signs that had been there all along.

Stories like Martin’s are sadly common. That’s why researchers at UCL, led by Dr Bing Li, are developing a simple blood test to help diagnose Alzheimer’s earlier and more accurately and your support can help make it happen.

Will you donate today to help fund new treatments, emerging technologies and groundbreaking blood tests that could help us beat dementia sooner?
