Alzheimer's Society Octopus Legacy free will offer (Online, phone and video) 

Supporter terms and conditions

  1. Alzheimer’s Society have partnered with Octopus Legacy to offer supporters the opportunity to write their Will for free using the service. Alzheimer’s Society will issue the supporter with a voucher code which can be redeemed at check out on Octopus Legacy’s website, or when using Octopus Legacy’s telephone or video call Will-writing service, to cover the cost of a Will.
     

  2. You will not be able to get a free Will from Octopus Legacy unless you agree 
    to their own Terms and Conditions. It is worth noting that:

    ● You must be aged 18 or over to use the service.

    ● The Will-writing service is only available in England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, where Octopus Legacy is not able to deliver this service, they can refer you to one of its independent partners in your area, who can provide a Will-writing service separately.

    ● There is no obligation on users of the service to leave a gift to Alzheimer’s Society.

    ● Octopus Legacy may process your personal data relying on its own and Alzheimer’s Society legitimate interests, and share basic information about you to allow Alzheimer’s Society to assess the success of the legacy campaigns they run with us, and to update their supporter databases. This includes your name, email, postal address, gift range (if applicable), date of birth, marital status, and date your Will is delivered.     ● You may choose at check out, to opt in to make unlimited future changes to your Will, at a cost to you of £10 per year for the online service, and £30 a year for phone/video services. You can choose not to opt in to this service, in which case you will not be charged. If opted in to this Unlimited Updates service, you can opt out at any time before being charged; through your online dashboard by going to “My Will” and “Manage my subscription”.   3. Alzheimer’s Society reserves the right to withdraw this free Will offer at any time.
     
  4. This Alzheimer’s Society Octopus Legacy free Will offer is separate to the Will to Remember scheme* also offered by Alzheimer’s Society which instead offers a free simple Will using a participating local solicitor, preparing the Will offline. The offers cannot be used in conjunction.
     
  5. Alzheimer’s Society pays a reduced rate to Octopus Legacy for supporters to write a simple Will with no charge to them, as this helps to increase the amount of future gifts left in Wills to the charity and represents a good long term return on investment.
     
  6. This offer covers the cost of a simple Will for an individual or simple Will for a couple, written using Octopus Legacy’s online, telephone or video call service. If your answers to the questions on Octopus Legacy’s website suggest you need a more complex Will they may refer you to their telephone or video call Will-writing service. The free offer covers a simple Will only. A more complex Will may cost more, and Octopus Legacy will make any additional cost clear to you before you proceed so that you can choose whether to go ahead. We do not pay any additional costs above what is covered by your voucher code, as this is not cost effective for the charity. If the costs of writing your Will exceed the sum covered by your voucher you are responsible for the additional amount, please take note of this when you add your voucher at check out online or are quoted on the phone or video call.*
     
  7. Please note Octopus Legacy alone, not Alzheimer’s Society, provide the Will-writing service and responsibility of the service is Octopus Legacy’s. Octopus Legacy is independent of Alzheimer’s Society and participating in this free Will offer does not imply a recommendation by Alzheimer’s Society. Please check the Terms and Conditions applying to Octopus Legacy before you apply.

Bydd yr Alzheimer's Society yn rhoi cod talebau i'r cefnogwr y gellir ei adbrynu wrth y ddesg dalu ar wefan Octopus Legacy, neu wrth ddefnyddio gwasanaeth ysgrifennu Ewyllysiau dros y ffôn neu alwad fideo Octopus Legacy, i dalu am gost Ewyllys.

  2. Ni fyddwch yn gallu cael Ewyllys am ddim gan Octopus Legacy oni bai eich bod yn cytuno i'w Telerau ac Amodau nhw eu hunain. Mae'n werth nodi:

    ● Rhaid i chi fod yn 18 oed neu'n hŷn i ddefnyddio'r gwasanaeth.

  6. Mae'r cynnig hwn yn cwmpasu cost Ewyllys syml i unigolyn neu Ewyllys syml i gwpl, wedi'i ysgrifennu gan ddefnyddio gwasanaeth ar-lein, ffôn neu alwadau fideo Octopus Legacy. Os yw eich atebion i'r cwestiynau ar wefan Octopus Legacy yn awgrymu bod angen ewyllys fwy cymhleth arnoch, efallai y byddant yn eich cyfeirio at eu gwasanaeth ysgrifennu ewyllysiau dros y ffôn neu dros alwad fideo. Mae'r cynnig am ddim yn cwmpasu Ewyllys syml yn unig. Efallai y bydd Ewyllys mwy cymhleth yn costio mwy, a bydd Octopus Legacy yn gwneud unrhyw gost ychwanegol yn glir i chi cyn i chi symud ymlaen, fel y gallwch ddewis a ddylid bwrw ymlaen ai peidio. Nid ydym yn talu unrhyw gostau ychwanegol uwchben yr hyn a gwmpesir gan eich cod talebau, gan nad yw hyn yn gost-effeithiol i'r elusen. Os yw costau ysgrifennu eich Ewyllys yn fwy na'r swm a gwmpesir gan eich taleb, chi sy'n gyfrifol am y swm ychwanegol, nodwch hyn pan fyddwch yn ychwanegu eich taleb wrth y ddesg dalu ar-lein neu os cewch ddyfynbris dros y ffôn neu dros alwad fideo.*
  7. Nodwch mai Octopus Legacy yn unig, nid yr Alzheimer's Society, sy'n darparu'r gwasanaeth ysgrifennu ewyllysiau, a chyfrifoldeb y gwasanaeth yw Octopus Legacy. Mae Octopus Legacy yn annibynnol o'r Alzheimer's Society ac nid yw cymryd rhan yn y cynnig ewyllys rhad ac am ddim hwn yn awgrymu argymhelliad gan yr Alzheimer's Society.
