What is the Forget Me Not Appeal?

In May, we ask everyone to join together and support the Forget Me Not Appeal to raise awareness and money for everyone living with dementia.

When you donate to the Forget Me Not Appeal, you will receive a badge in the post to wear in support of people affected by dementia. Your badge will show that you understand them and stand with them. Your badge is a symbol of solidarity and a message to everyone affected by dementia that they have not been forgotten by research, by the care system, or by the wider public.

But most importantly, by supporting the appeal, you are funding life-changing support that people living with dementia, their carers and their loved ones need right now.

Having seen the impact of dementia on people around me, I’m sadly all too aware of how painful, cruel and unforgiving this condition can be. I’m proud to wear my Forget Me Not badge and support people affected by dementia.
