Sudbury Dementia Carers Support Group is a group of family carers with years of experience caring for their husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, etc. The meetings are for family and other unpaid carers to come together and talk openly about their experiences, learn more about dementia, share ideas and tips (including coping strategies) with each other, and provide a break from their often stressful lives. Meetings are conducted in a confidential environment (without any fear of discrimination, judgment, etc.). Carers experiences, information and ideas are exchanged in an informal, friendly, supportive and confidential environment.
