Dementia is the UK’s biggest public health and social crisis. But today, one third of people living with the disease don’t have the diagnosis they need.

Hidden behind these devastating statistics are the stories of families supporting each other through the most difficult circumstances. Families who’ve gone through years of pain and confusion of undiagnosed dementia, cut off from the treatment and support they urgently need.

We believe no family should have to live with the distress of a late dementia diagnosis. Right now, our teams are assessing world-class research grant applications from the best and brightest scientists across the UK.

Help give answers to people like Jackie and Tony

Jackie was only 50 when she developed dementia. As she was young, she was misdiagnosed with depression, anxiety and menopause symptoms. It took four years for her to finally get a diagnosis of young-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Though being diagnosed was difficult, it gave Jackie and Tony the answers and understanding they needed, after years of frustration and confusion.

No one should have to experience the pain of a delayed dementia diagnosis. With your help, we can fund world-class research projects to give everyone with dementia the early and accurate diagnosis they deserve.

Together, we’re changing the future of dementia

Thank you for your support in helping fund world-class research to ensure everyone with dementia receives the early and accurate diagnosis they deserve.
