Research is the key to beating dementia, and will lead to improved diagnosis, effective treatments, and the high-quality care that everyone living with dementia deserves.

However, only through continued funding will this be possible.

How your donation helps

Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity focused on addressing the growing dementia crisis from all sides.

Your donations enable us to research into care and cure, provide support and training, and campaign for the rights of people living with dementia.

How we spend your donations 

For every pound we spend, 88p goes directly towards improving the lives of people affected by dementia

Thanks to generous people like you, last year we answered 45,000 calls to our Dementia Connect support line, trained 2.8 million Dementia Friends, and invested £37 million into research, just to name a few of the incredible things that your kind gifts help to fund.  

Your support ensures that we can offer help to those who need it most whilst looking for a cure and trying to create a more dementia friendly society.
