The challenge

This 50km looped route covers some of the best of the Chilterns countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and fantastic views.

Starting & finishing at the base-camp in Henley, there’s a Saturday night celebration BBQ, bar & entertainment, with extensive on-site camping & parking options.

It’s a route with real variety and some wonderful scenery – and with 25 km options also available – there’s a Chiltern Challenge for everyone!

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

As Alzheimer's Society are an official partner on this event, you get a 50% discount on the ‘Full Sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support us.

• Full Challenge (50km) - Henley loop
• Half Challenge (25km) - Henley loop (but shorter!)

Fundraising

You only need to raise half of the fundraising target 3 weeks ahead of the Chiltern 50 Challenge to confirm your place - you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

Charity sponsorship - pay a small registration fee and do lots of fundraising!
Remember you only need to raise half of the fundraising target to confirm your place.

Full Challenge (50km) - £30 registration fee + £360 in fundraising

Half Challenge (25km) - £20 registration fee + £240 in fundraising

Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and fundraise less

Full Challenge (50km) - £75 registration fee + £225 in fundraising

Half Challenge (25km) - £50 registration fee + £150 in fundraising
