Funeral giving
Losing someone special is never easy, but giving in memory at your loved one's funeral is a beautiful way to honour their memory while providing hope to people living with dementia.
How funeral giving works
Follow these steps to successfully organise your collection:
Choose the best way to collect donations that suits you
You can honour your loved one’s memory by setting up an online tribute fund to collect donations, or donations can be collected in person during the service.
Tell your friends and family about your collection
Include in the funeral notice or order of service details of how donations will be collected to let friends and family know how they can contribute.
Donate your in memory collection
Donations collected in person can be simply paid in as a one-time gift in memory of your loved one. Your generous donation celebrates those whose memory lives on.
There are a couple of different ways you can hold a funeral collection
You can set up an online tribute fund where friends and family can donate and share personal messages of remembrance or hold a collection in memory.
