The Challenge

Our Cirencester basecamp is the start of the 100 km looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, providing a stunning setting for 2,000 or so adventurers to test themselves. Rolling hills, villages, footpaths & stunning views to take on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for your favourite charity! Join as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food & drink, optional camping, University style accommodation& transfers, a special medal, T shirt and celebration finish. With 50km, 25km&10km distance option also – there’s a Cotswold’s Way Challenge for everyone! Push yourself further in 2026, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s No.1 Series of treks & trail.

  • Full Challenge (100km) - Cirencester Loop
  • 3/4 Challenge (76km) - Painswick to Cirencester
  • 1st Half (53km) - Cirencester to Wotton
  • 2nd Half (47km) - Wotton to Cirencester
  • 1st Quarter Challenge (24km) - Cirencester to Painswick
  • 2nd Quarter Challenge (29km) - Painswick to Wotton

Fundraising

You only need to raise half of the fundraising target 3 weeks ahead of the Cotswold Way Challenge to confirm your place - you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

Full Challenge (100km) - £50 registration fee + £575 in fundraising

3/4 Challenge (75km) - £45 registration fee + £475 in fundraising

Half Challenge (50km) - £40 registration fee + £375 in fundraising

Quarter Challenge (25km) - £30 registration fee + £275 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £20 registration fee + £100 in fundraising

Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and fundraise less. 

Full Challenge (100km) - £110 registration fee + £330 in fundraising

3/4 Challenge (75km) - £90 registration fee + £270 in fundraising

Half Challenge (50km) - £75 registration fee + £225 in fundraising

Quarter Challenge (25km) - £50 registration fee + £150 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £2.50 registration fee + £70 in fundraising
