• Carer Information Programme Newry
  The carer information programme provides the opportunity to increase knowledge and understanding of dementia. The programme runs once a year and consists of six weekly sessions covering a variety of topics. These can include sessions on communication, challenging behaviour, legal and financial issues etc
• Carer support group Newry
  The Support Group gives family carers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and a chance to share their experiences, concerns and problems in an understanding and confidential setting. We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 7:30 - 9:00pm.

  The Dementia Support service offers community support by providing information, signposting of services and emotional support to people with dementia, their carers and families through direct contact visits in or beyond the family home.

  Café style supported social get-togethers, providing a combination of information, knowledge and support within a structured and understanding environment. Clients with early to moderate stage dementia with no personal care needs. Open every Wednesday from 11:30am - 2:30pm.
